Update
Saturday, October 28, 2006Ok. After months of indecison, I have FINALLY updated my Flickr account. Updated? Yep. I had the account for almost a year now, it contained pictures of me and my friends and family but somehow, I got bored looking at the same old pictures (hehe) so I "revamped" and "overhauled" the page. Now, it contains shots of still life, nature, those sort. The works of a frustrated digital photographer. Hehe. The link, as you can see (hopefully), is on the right side of screen. Point your cursor over the word Flickr, click, and voila! You might not appreciate the pictures because they were taken using Series 60 Nokia cameraphone and, of course, you would not expect them to be so vivid and all. But still, they are pictures, and behind every shot are a zillion stories, emotions, and memories. Wuhoo! I can't believe this, after Friendster, i.Ph, Flickr, what's next?! Waah! Everyday, I'm becoming more and more WWW-dependent. I guess that's bad. Hehe.
SemBreak101
Thursday, October 26, 2006Kapag SemBreak at walang magawa..
1. Maglinis ng kwarto. Linisin ang dumi ng nakaraang sem. Itapon ang mga Physics 21 notes. Sunugin ang mga exams sa bluebooks at yellow papers na puro bagsak. Shete. Ubos ang gamit ko. Hehe.
2. Magbasa ng libro. Subukan ang The Firm ni John Grisham. Ayus. Good finds are hard to find. Hehe.
3. Mag-unlimitxt. Enough said. Keep in touch with old folks, I mean, friends.
4. Ma-in-love. Huh?! Anu daw?! Wag pala. It makes and breaks your day at the same time. Hehe.
5. Matulog. Catch up with the sleeping fairy because you may not often meet her next sem. Hehe.
Reading. Sleeping. Daydreaming.
Reading brings you to places you have never been. Sleeping brings you to places outside the realms of reality. Daydreaming? Brings you to places you have never been, outside the realms of reality, and the best part? It gives you control in the events… No antagonists, no monsters, and above all, no pain and tears. —Luci®

STAND UP AGAINST POVERTY
We attended a forum on "Stand Up Againt Poverty" in PAC (Magalang), hosted by UPEPP Faculty. The venue was really far UPEPP and it took us light years to get there (OA!!). Still we attended the said forum because we believe in its cause and we believe that it would be for the betterment of our country and the whole world. Okay. To be honest, we were promised incentives in Physics if we do so—yeah, obviously, we would do everything to pass tyhat course(O_o). Really, the event was for a good cause. It was held in line with the worldwide awareness program of 190 countries around the globe to eradicate the root of all problems—poverty. The forum was in Filipino so the theme was " Tumayo Tayo. Labanan ang Kahirapan. Tuparin ang MDGs (Milleniun Development Goals)". Ok, you may not get the actual "idea" by merely reading this post. Read more aboutit online. It is happening around the world. Be informed. Remember, ignorance is no excuse. Here's the Tumayo Tayo Pledge… At least, with you would know what we are standing for…
We stand here proudly as members of the generation that intends to defeat extreme poverty.
We cannot stay seated when a child born in a poor country today will die 30 years earlier than a child born in a wealthy one: when tens of thousands of people will die unnecesarrily every day.
And we stand up because we are asking not for charity but justice - we know, that in our names, world leaders have made mighty promises to bring this to an end – they are called the Millennium Development Goals. What is needed is the political will to achieve and exceed these goals - so we are on our feet to say:
To the leaders of the wealthy countries: Be great. Fight to keep your promises – debt cancellation, more and better aid, and trade rules that help fight poverty. You know what needs to be done. Do it.
We also stand before the leaders of poorer countries to say: Be great. Make it your first responsibility to save the lives of your poorest citizens. We ask you to achieve real transparency and accountability in how money is spent, to tackle inequality, to root out corruption. You know what needs to be done. Do it.
We wish to set a record today for the number of people standing up to demand action on poverty – but the record we really want to break is the world’s record of breaking promises and just ignoring the poor. We don’t want record numbers of people dying of poverty every year for the rest of our lives.
We are six billion voices. We want justice now. No more excuses. We will not stand for them.

MALAS MO!!!
Oo. Wahaha! Kumusta naman un noh?! Kadirs talaga. I know I should have scored better if only I was luckier. Hehe. Heto 'ung questions ko nung exam… (Hindi ko talaga sila makalimutan!)
Lord, sana makabunot ako ng smiley.
1. What are the three events in the Three-Island Mile Accident? "Ma'am, d ba ung sa nuclear energy yan? (Kunwari alam ko.. Hehe.) Uhm.. Ahh.. Hindi ko po alam.. (Smiles. Kakahiya naman.)"
Lord, sana makabunot ako ng smiley.
2. What are the consequences of the Second Law of Thermodynamics? "Ma'am, hindi ba 'ung thermodynamics ung may entropy." (Ma'am: Oo.) "Ung entropy po kasi rate of disorder un. Sabi po, 'ung entropy, it is always increasing." (Ma'am: tapos?) "May temperature po ba dun?" (Ma'am: *tawa, mukhang kinakahiya na n'ya na naging estudyante n'ya ako.*) "Ahh.. Ehh.. Hindi ko na po alam." (Waaaahh!! Anu ba yan?! I am a disgrace to the scientific community!! Oh come on! Divine Providence!)
Waaaaahhh!! Lord naman, isang smiley lang. Please!!!
3. What is the formula for length contraction? (Waaahh! At last! May masasagot na ako!!! With confidence to the highest level, sinulat ko dun sa paper na binigay ni ma'am… L is equal to Lo times the square root of one minus the quantity of v squared over speed of light squared. Korak!!!)
Lord, last na 'toh. Isang smiley lang. Please!!!!!!
4. What is gravitational lensing? (Tulala.) "Ma'am, anu po ulet?!" (Inulit 'ung tanong. Shete. Hindi ko ma-grasp ung words. Shete. Hindi ko alam. Ayun, nanghula ulet.) "Ma'am, alam n'yo ba na ayun sa theory of equivalence sa general theory of relativity in Einstein ay gravitational force and acceleration are the same. Mahirap daw pong i-determine whether a force was caused by gravity or acceleration. Tama po ba?" (Ma'am: "Tapos? Kulang pa eh. Anu ung specific meaning ng gravitational lensing?") (Buugsshhh!!! Hindi talaga siya nadaan sa bola ko. Sayang!) "Uhmm.. Ma'am, hindi ko po alam." (Sabay yoko sa sobrang hiya. Hehe.)
Hay… Luci - 50/100.. Sad. =(
Karagdagan sa kamalasan ko, twice akong natapilok. Thrice naapakan ni Chan 'ung flip-flops ko. Nauntog ako sa jeep. Hay… Whatta day!!!
WEDNESDAY (October 18)
A BUM'S LIFE
Woke up at 9:38am. Brushed my teeth. Washed my teeth. Cooked hotcakes with chocolate chips for breakfast. Ate. Watched TV. Stayed in the shop. Texted. Cried because they would not allow me to watch PBA Live in Araneta. Cried and then they allowed me provided I pay for eveything. Smiled because I was happy. Texted. Lunch. Sang Drip's revival of Kabilugan ng Buwan by APO Hiking Society. Covered my newly-acquired John Grisham and Milan Kundera books. Sang Sandwich's revival of APO's Bakit Ang Babae. Texted. Slept. Texted. Stayed in the shop. Texted. Watched TV. Surfed the Net. Dinner. Washed the dishes. Texted. Watched TV. Hay… I wished I lived my life better than this. I know I could but damn it! I don't know why the hell I keep coming back to my bum self. No!!! I'm bounded by the chains of "bum"-hood. Haha.
Blah Part 4
Sunday, October 15, 2006Blah when you've got so much to do yet you choose not to, not even a single damn one.

Ok. Today was a fine day except that I wasn't able to watch CSI and CSI: Miami. Hay.. I would not miss them for the world but I did. A hell did! Why?! Because I read about thermodynamics, magnetism, elementary particles, and all those stuff that you need to read but you don't know why except that it would, at least, give me false hopes of passing Physics 21.

Waaahh! Oral exam on Tuesday! Finals on Friday! Release of sentence on November 3-4. Huhu. What are quarks again?!?!

Ok. Here's a list of sites in WWW that i frequent… Try them some time.. they are worth your time (i think..)
http://community.sparknotes.com/ — Formerly theSpark.com. But since Mark Caguioa of GinKings became "The Spark", they changed their name to SparkLife. Hehe. Kidding. Take their "Untelligence Test" and "Death Test". Interesting. (O_o)
http://web.tickle.com/ — Formerly Emode.com. I can't think of an explanation for the change. Sorry. Psychological tests for bored people.
http://www.blogthings.com — Short quizzes. Name generators. Cool and funny.

Ok. Here's the part you would most likely skip. Beware. It contains stuffs that may damage your cerebral cortex and right aorta. It may even cause you sleepless nights, thinking who the hell I am talking about. But, I'm pretty sure, it is not for you. Hehe. Waaaahh!!! I miss you. Hope things would turn out well. Yeah, I've been hearing much about you and your "flaws" lately but, still, here I am, hoping in some way they are wrong. Hoping somehow you would prove them wrong. In the 3 months I have known you (which they say is pretty short and I think so too)… You have been showing me that they are wrong and, hopefully, I am not wrong (and foolish) in trusting you. Wrong. Hehe.
