In my Philo 171 class…
Prof randomly picks out a classcard…
Prof: Mercado… Lucimary…
Luci: Sir! Same question?
Prof: Yes. Are you content with your life now?
Luci: Sir, at the moment, I think I am content with my life.
Prof: Why do you say so?
Luci: Because I get what I want. I try my best to get everything I want in life. (Shet. Napaka-mediocre at cliché naman ng sagot ko.)
Prof: I think that is a very good answer. Working hard makes you feel contented. That’s good.
Luci: (Smiles na pa-humble pero halatang abot-tenga ngiti.) Ahihi.
Yeah. Obviously, Philo 171 no longer freaks me out as much as it did before. Although, I still get sweaty and ‘palpitated’ when he arrives, the fear had already subsided. Shet. Ang OA ko. Haha.
Hmm… I mentioned the dialogue/conversation/recitation thingy because (Ala lang. Yabang eh. Very good daw ako. Haha.) it is true and I am proud of it. Yeah, I feel really fulfilled lately. Not because I have someone that fulfills me (I learned that you don’t need someone to complete you anyway.) but because I find contentment in the life I choose to live.
