2007 was a memorable year for me. Like my blog’s current title, it was a masquerade of love and hate. A parody of life. A space shuttle of emotions. It was as crazy as laughing and crying at the same time. Bit like mania and depression in one. Last year was significant for me because it was a year of many firsts, many welcomes, and many goodbyes. In 2007, I learned…
…that first love never dies (funny and clichéd but very true).
…that no matter how bad the storm, it will eventually pass.
…that after a lost love, you would meet “someone” new who would sweep you off your feet and make you forget the pain.
…that this “someone” is like all the guys in the world who, after some time, would also break your heart.
…that if you cry for three consecutive nights, your eyes would really hurt on the fourth teary night (haha).
…that caramel pastilles sundae in Jollibee would satisfy your sugar cravings.
…that even if I eat fries everyday for a week, I would not gain a single pound.
…that two people could love each other and still not be together.
