Just remember, if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.

Baguio

Monday, November 16, 2009

My dad woke me up at 4:45am today, pleading me to get out of bed so we’d get to Baguio early. As soon as I got dressed, the car is out of the garage already. I had to put all my things (extra jacket, shirt, camera, book, make-up kit, and cellphones) inside my huge week-ender bag. It was a good ride and the early getting up was worth it. I witnessed sunrise in Tarlac and slept my way through Baguio. I woke up to the coolness of Baguio air. It has been more than two years since my last trip here. Ondoy and Pepeng had left Kennon road with huge rocks, cracked roads, and temporary vehicle detours. But Baguio is Baguio and no typhoon could remove its breathtaking beauty. Funny how it is just now that I’ve noticed a post in Brgy Camp 6. I wasn’t able to take a shot but it read, “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” Haha. Most signages asks us to keep our surroundings clean and green or don’t drink and drive but never a sign that asks us not to check out another person aside from our spouse. It was the first time I’ve ever read such a signage on a national road and it is in Baguio! Perhaps, Baguio has been known as getaway of “illegal” couples who wants to hide from knowing eyes.

Un lang. Chinika ko lang. Bow. Hehe.

I’ve taken the following pictures while my head and my camera were sticking out of the car window while it is in full motion.
